Good Bye Calgary!

Only a few days left before Vik and I will be leaving cold Alberta - heading south to Baja California to do a little kayak expedition in the Sea of Cortez. Like the caption says: turquoise waters are awaiting us, and I can't wait to hang out with the whales, seals, rattle snakes and scorpions. I am not sure why I - the ESL (comment for fellow ESLers: English as a second language) person of the team has been selected to do the blog - but i hope that the fearless team leader (as their is no I in team that would be Vk) will edit the posts to follow, so that you don't have to read shitty postings. So tune in on Radio Free Baja once in a while - show times will be baja style, i.e. sporadic, but we promise there won't be any advertising on our channel! Comments are VERY welcome!

Have fun in Baha guys!
Hopefully there will be a Taco del Mar in Calgary by the time you get back to support your Mexican food fetish. LG and I will be drinking Corona, Sol and Pacifico in your honour!

Anna, so good to see you before you left. Both bottles of wine you brought for dinner were fantastic! So much so, that I soaked the label off the white! Thank you darling. It's weird how you don't appreciate people until they go away. Happy travels.

Happy Winter Solstice! The longest day of the year has come and now we are moving towards the light of Spring again. Whew. It is pretty but dark out lately.

I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you on this day Anna...how is the journey so far?

May you find magic and beauty in all that arrives.
